The object is based on the drawing of an atom by Edwin D.Babbitt in 1878. It serves as a metaphor for the basis of energy while it also resembles the shape and size of a heart, bringing it closer to human dimensions. The spiraling copper coil with the cast iron stick pierced

through its center serves as an antenna, picking up sounds from the surrounding electromagnetic field.
